General Price List Effective September 15th, 2008 The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. A statement will be provided describing the funeral goods and services you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. Basic services of the Funeral Director and Staff, and Overhead:   $1845.00

Our basic service charge includes, but is not limited to, staff to respond to initial request for services; arrangement conference with family or responsible party; preparation and filing of necessary certificates and coordination of services with cemetery or crematory, vault company and others as required. Also included in this charge are overhead expenses. This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the funeral arrangements you select. This fee is already included in our charges direct cremations, immediate burials and forwarding of remains to another funeral home.

Embalming:    $695.00    Embalming is not required by law: Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements such as; a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you have the right to choose a burial or cremation within 48 hours. (Michigan law requires embalming when the cause of death is associated with certain Infectious Diseases; with very limited exceptions. Law requires embalming, when the body is not taken to its final destination such as; a cemetery or crematory, within 48 hours of the time of death.

Other Preparation of Remains:  $180.00

Dressing, casketing of the human remains Hairdressing and Cosmetology when needed.

Transfer of Remains to Funeral Home: $225.00

Inside a 15 mile area: Out of area transfer is billed for each additional mile over 15 @ $2.00 per loaded mile. House call or Nursing Home Add $125.00

Hearse:  $250.00 

Inside a 25 mile area: Out of area transfer is billed for each additional mile over 25 @ $2.00 per loaded mile.

Service Utility Vehicle: $ 150.00 

This charge is for staff and vehicle used to secure the death certificate and any other funeral related transportation.

Use of Facilities:

Public or private visitation:   $500.00 viewing times between 2pm till 8pm

Additional Day of Visitation: $500.00 viewing times between 2pm till 8pm            

Graveside, Committal or Church service:    $350.00
